Chicago 1990 Chapter 04:- Little Lori

 Tl:- madghost

Speaking of Rapping, Little Lori, who we will be playing later with, is a newcomer rapper.

The first promotional single has already hit the charts on local radio. Several well-known Chicago DJs have also successively pushed it, and the evaluation received seems to be ok too. According to Tony, the debut album is also coming soon too.

Song Ya has never heard of these promotional singles before. He only met with Lori after the crossing. Aunt Susie and other family members are generally very supportive of Tony going to 'mix' with Lori. Although now most of the rappers are entangled with gangs, it’s still better than getting mixed with those real gangs.

After a rap song finished broadcasting, the DJ immediately followed: "The previous song was ‘Express Yourself’ from ‘N.W.A.’! Next, let's change our taste, ladies and gentlemen, Man In The Mirror, from Michael Jackson!"

The prelude just started, The 'silencer' started to turn the station around, twisting it back and forth and not finding what he liked, while the radio continued to make useless noises.

"Isn't it okay to just listen to MJ?"

Michael Jackson is now going on in full swing. Song Ya has actively and passively listened to His song after his crossing, and he liked it very much. The words in the song ‘man in the mirror’ are profound, and the leaving impression is particularly deep.

"He betrayed us!" Tony suddenly became a little agitated. "For so many years, we have given him our wholehearted support and the result! What did we get in return!? He is ashamed of us! Ashamed of being a black man!” He pointed out the car window, "Look! Look at him now!"

Song Ya looked over. There happened to be a big Pepsi advertisement by MJ on the side of the road. ‘That face, um, was really white.’

"Traitor." The 'silencer' uttered a word, and finally chose a channel he liked. It was still a piece of rap music.

"Those are bullshit, right?"

‘A black man can please a white man by turning himself white? Doesn't this just make black people upset and white people look down on him?’ Song Ya instinctively thinks Tony's statement is illogical.

"Everyone says that anyway."

Tony continued saying: "The white people control the world. They do this to dampen our self-esteem and let us continue to be their slaves. Plastic surgery, you know? Faces can be changed, and it's not difficult to bleach either.”

"Area 51." Another word came out from 'Silencer.’

"Yes! In fact, white people have caught aliens long ago! But they chose to hide the alien's technology. Not for the benefit of the people, but to fight the world war with CCCP(Union of Soviet Socialist Republics)!" By the way, "When they decide a victory or defeat, they will definitely turn around to come deal with us and let the black people continue to be slaves!"

"Uh...well." Song Ya was convinced and decided not to talk more with him.

Tony was still speaking, "There is also Mike, who is not in a good situation. I heard that I heard that many big guys in the US want his life!"

"Jordan!?"

Song Ya was shocked. Michael Jordan is now the main player of the Bulls. The darling of all Chicago.

"It's not Michael. It’s Mike! Mike Tyson!" Tony corrected.

"I know I heard about this."

A few days ago, boxing champion Tyson was beaten in an upset by a 42-1 loss. Song Ya heard that many gangsters had lost money in this matter.

After a while, The three people arrived at the place that was agreed upon with Little Lori, a public basketball court surrounded by barbed wire next to a small park. The surrounding environment here was much better than near Song Ya's home.

It wasn’t that far from the commercial street, and there are high-rise apartments nearby. Police cars pass by the intersection from time to time. The people playing inside are also wearing much more trendy clothes.

Little Lori was already waiting inside. He is about the same age as Tony, is shorter than Song Ya, very thin, has dirty braids on his head. His looks are rare among blacks. He was listening to music wearing headphones while warming up leisurely.

Not far away, two black men were standing beside the basketball hoop and chatting. One was about twenty-five or six years old, while the other seemed to be in his thirties.

Finding a place to park the car, Tony got out of the car first and greeted loudly: "Hey! Bro~"

"Hey!" Little Lori took off the headphones, greeted him with a smile, and had a complicated punch greeting with Tony and the 'silencer.’

When it was Song Ya’s turn, the two of them made the fist gesture, but because Song Ya reversed the order, when they collided up and down, the two of them swung their fists back and forth several times, but they didn’t get it in the right Point.

Song Ya retracted his fist and smiled politely and awkwardly.

Little Lori smiled, "Forget it, don't care about those." Then he patted Song Ya on the shoulder, "Come on, introduce everyone to you."

The two people who just stood by the basketball stand also came over. The younger one is Little Lori’s band partner, calling himself Al.

"You're the one..." Tony got enthusiastic seeing Al, one hand imitated like holding a microphone, and he used his mouth, "Boom ohh ehh boo boo, popo to po to po po..." and tried to do what little beatboxing skills he knew.

"Ye..." Al smiled and then also beatboxed for a while.

He is much more professional. If he didn’t see with his eyes, Song Ya might really suspect that there is an extra drum set beside him.

Tony gave him a thumbs up.

The older ones were from the record company, not as easy-going as Al, "Everyone calls me AK." Then fisted against the three.

The six people all knew each other. Little Lori threw his CD Walkman and jacket to AK. The others also took off their jacket and additional burdens and put them under the basketball hoop.

Ordinarily its three-on-three halftime. But it’s unrealistic for Lori’s small body to match Tony and the 'silencer’, the two tall and strong rugby players. Song Ya also knows that this was the reason why Tony must have insisted for him to come, so he also took the initiative to go over and confront Little Lori.

To put it bluntly, except for Lori, the real purpose of the other five people on the court is not to play basketball, but to accompany him. Since it is to play with, it is necessary to make the person being accompanied happy. So they are all in a tacit understanding. When Little Lori holds the ball, they all pull far away and let Song Ya play with him.

Cross step, dribble from behind, turn around vacantly, change direction in front of his body, Little Lori obviously had a good foundation. A set of ball control skills, turning speed and dribbling speed are swift.

After crossing, Song Ya played basketball, and he was blown up in the matchup. Between this time, he also improved slightly, but that was all.

Time slowly passed, and the yelling on the court matched the buzzing sound of basketball.

Have to say that the foundation of this body is excellent. Song Ya has been passed over and over again, following Little Lori to eat ashes, but except for the tiredness of the lungs, there is no problem with his physical strength.

‘Maybe my physical education credits can also be rescued?’ After a little distraction, he took a push, lost his balance, and sat on the ground. Looking back, Little Lori had a successful layup and was imitating Jordan to celebrate.

"Pause! Let’s take a break."

At this time, AK, who was facing the 'silencer,’ couldn't hold on anymore. The 'silencer' was not as smooth as Tony, and it was impossible to carry people inside. His running back's body dragged down AK. However, Al, who was facing Tony, was still okay.

"Don't! AK! I just warmed up!" Little Lori shouted disappointedly with the ball. He really likes to play against Song Ya.

"I can't do it. I can't do it anymore." AK raised his hands and retreated to the sidelines.

The 'silencer' smirked from his place.

"Shall we come?" At this time, three black guys who were waiting for the next place came over and asked.

"Okay." Little Lori agreed.

"Ali!" Tony gave Song Ya a look at this time.

"Then you guys play first." Song Ya followed Tony off the court, leaving Lori, Al, and Silencer on the court.

Less than ten minutes after the three of them sat down to rest, an accident happened on the court.

Probably because Lori was intercepted continuously by the opponent, when he was anxious to break, he bumped his head into the opponent's elbow, which he did not know whether it was intentional or unintentional. And fell to the ground on the spot.

"FXXX!" He got up and pushed him over in anger.

The other party is not so easy, "Can't afford to lose? Like a sissy?" His mouth was not clean and also pushed Little Lori back.

The six people on the field quickly assembled. The "war" expanded, and AK also promptly got up to support the field.

Song Ya turned his head and saw Tony bouncing up like a frightened rabbit. But he only flew towards the Toyota eagle with a silencer on the sidelines and rushed back about half a minute later, plunged into the crowd. He blocked the others and stood in front of Little Lori.

"Hey!" He lifted the hem of the T-shirt, revealing the black gun handle pinned to his waist, his eyes looked fierce like Mike Tyson, "How big do you want to play? Nger! Huh? How big do you want to play?"
